Reflection 4TH Quarter

This quarter was a stressful one, mainly because we have to deal with different lessons and lectures on our own. We ecountered photoshop again and we also reported the different topics and usage of photoshop.

For our activity, we made a photoshop file that promotes Ilocos Sure National High School, and it was a struggle. Luckily I have my friends to guide me in finishing the activity and in improving myself in the world of photoshop.

Photoshop is really interesting because you can edit images and let your imagination run in photoshop.

Thank you for everything. May I cherish this last quarter and apply the lessons we had from 1st to 4th quarter.

Dream the impossible

Being a student, I have already encountered lots of problem regarding school papers and school works. But all of these I work for hard for because I have a dream. I have a vision, a vision that no one can achieve for me but myself. I am Clifford Xeon Lopena and I am ready to fulfill my dream.

Once we age, slowly and slowly we tend to think. "Hey? What do I wanna be when I grow up?", don't worry it is normal. All of us have different dreams and goals that we want to achieve and I can say that all of us have a strategy in attaining those goals we have in mind. So that those those goals that are inside our head can go out and be a reality.

I want to be a lawyer, to protect the people's rights and to unblind justice. If I want to achieve this, I must work hard Dream the impossible.

However do not let failure bring you down, instead use it as a stepping stone and a lesson in life so that in retracing your steps, you can avoid those mistakes and succeed. Because being a dreamer means being able to stand up even if life has given you reasons to stay down.

Dream the impossible and make the possible happen.

Another year to celebrate.

Ilocos Sur National High School has been functional for the 117th time, and the standard of education it offers stands out. Coming from the special mathemathics class I can say, that teachers work hard, and students study hard. I observed that time must not be wasted, that time is important.

The High School Day celebration was a success. And there were a lot of activities happened in that day. First the parade, when all of the students and their advisers walked to showcase our school. Then the arrival of honors plus the marching band, it was a very honorific time when we welcomed the guest and the principal. Lastly, the Field demonstration, wherein skills in dancing were showcased by the different grade levels.

It was a very tiring day indeed, but it was kind of fun too. Because not only I celebrated it with my friends but I also learned some inspirational words from the guest speaker himself.

"Soar... Fly... Aim High!"

Celebration of Fun! Ilocos Sur Number One!

A time of celebration, a time of fun. That is one purpose kannawidan festival is being held yearly in our province. Also the Kannawidan Festival celebrates the golden culture of Ilocos Sur, and the warmth of the province.

One of the main objectives of the festival is to pay more attention to children. The youth is the future so a better attention creates a better vision. And a better vision can motivate the youth to become a leader of their generation and in the future generations.

Different types of booth were also held in the festival, it includes food bazaars, product booths and the carnaval. Mini concerts were also held at the event as a way of bringing entertainment within the ilokano people and also for the tourists. Celebrate the festival with happiness and let it bring a smile in your face.

My voice, my say

They say that change is the only permanent thing in the world, and that changing is for the better is not at all that bad. We came here with our own versions and it is not bad to change some parts of what we have started.

Everything has its own mistakes and flaws, yes all of us accept that because nobody is perfect. But what if a flaw is big? There must be something we can do about it. I believe there is, because I believe in change.

Everything changes. it may be in its physical appearance or it may be figuratively. Some change for the worse, some for the better.

For me, I want to change for the better. I want to change the peoples' mindset on sexuality, on race, and on their fellow people. I want to change discrimination, I want to change the world for the better. How? By being able to influence, and a leader. And I know that I can start being a leader in school. And as I grow up, I can apply these lessons that I have learned to be able to spread my voice.

2019! Here We Go!

Another year has come, another chance to improve myself and another opportunity to find my true self. To be honest, I still do not know who I am, in my 15 years of existence I am only on the first step of my life. Just a teenager living his life to the fullest not yet thinking about how the real world works and how real problems happen.

Though I take my studies and my grades seriously, I still want to improve myself and challenge myself to be a better version of me. 2018 was a blast, full of exciting and unexpected things has occur and a lot of bonds and memories were made. This year, I want to make more friends and create more memories as I step in the world of Senior High School. Soon, all of us classmates will take separate ways and take different paths, so before I leave them I want to make the best of my time with them and have one last jamming, one last discussion, one last arguments, one last dance, one last trip, one last memory.

I hope that this year will be filled with happiness and I can start to improve myself to become a better student, a better son, a better friend, and a better person. 2019, here we go!

The Most Beautiful Time Of The Year

After August 30 it starts, the festive feeling of the Filipinos awakens and 4 months of celebration begins! Christmas of the Filipinos, wherein at the start of September we celebrate the holiday season, up until January. Christmas is truly meaningful to us Filipinos, it gives us the will to be with our loved ones, and to celebrate with our family.

Christmas in the Philippines is truly a big celebration, where Filipinos, in any way of living, always makes way for the celebration of Christmas. Decorating our homes and neighbourhood just to feel the happiness that Christmas will bring.

"We wish you a Merry Christmas!" As boys and girls carol through the neighbourhood and people gather for a warm dinner. We celebrate Christmas like no other. Homes filled with decorations, gifts, food and joy. People filled with happiness, that's what we are all supposed to feel when the clock strikes at twelve. Where we celebrate the birth of Christ, and just love. Just love, family is love.

Christmas is truly a gift and a blessing. For it is the time where all of us celebrate as one, and for a day, peace is among us.
